This tutorial was inspired by a challenge in Zone Groups
We were asked to Tag a Summer Song and I picked Summer Rain by Johnny Rivers
Remember tutorials are just a guideline and creativity is always a must when doing PSP, so make it your own!!!
1. Open the template
2. Delete the following layers
Credits, break break, tiny text, summer and summer glitter
3. Go to Image / Canvas Size / 700 x 700 centered
4. Click on the l.lg.rectangle layer
5. Go to Adjust/ Hue and Saturation / Colorize / use color from your tube
6. Click on the r.lg.rectangle layer
7. Repeat Step 5
8. Move l.sm.circle layer to just above your r.sm.circle layer
9. Merge Down
10. Repeat Step 5
11. Click on the l.circle.frame layer
12. Merge Down
13. Repeat Step 5
14. Click on the bottom rectangle layer
15. Repeat Step 5
16. Click on the lg circle layer
17. Repeat Step 5
18. Duplicate two times
19. Close the top two duplicated layers
On the original layer, do the following
20. Go to Effects / Plugins / Alien Skin Eye Candy 5: Textures / Texture Noise / Heavy Rain / use the default settings
21. Close that layer and open the layer right above it
22. Repeat Step 20 and change the Random Seed
23. Close that layer and open the layer right above it
24. Repeat Step 20 and change the Random Seed again
25. Add your tube
26. Place it where you like
27. Click on the lg circle layer again
28. Using your magic wand, select the area outside your circle
29. Click on your tube layer
30. Delete
31. Go to Selections / Select None
32. Change the layer property to Overlay
33. Add your copyright and watermark information
34. Add your text
35. Add your other tube
Be sure to crop off any "dead space" around your tag, if necessary before going on.
** Steps 36 to 43 are Optional **
If you don't have a sparkle, then just don't do this part or Google it!
And when you get to the animation, just don't do the steps that involve the sparkles
36. Click on your sparkle waves layer
37. Duplicate two times
38. Close the top two duplicated layers
On the original layer, do the following
39. Add a sparkle from your picture tubes tool
40. Close that layer and open the layer right above it
41. Repeat Step 38
42. Close that layer and open the layer right above it
43. Repeat Step 38
Now on to Animating
44. Open your Animation Shop
45. Go to your tag in PSP
** Note **
Be sure that two of your sparkle copies and two of your lg circle copies are closed
46. Right-click Copy Merged
47. Paste into your AS as new animation
48. Go back to your tag in PSP
49. Close the sparkle and lg circle layers and open two other ones
50. Right-click Copy Merged
51. Go back to your new animation in AS
52. Paste AFTER current frame
53. Go back to your tag in PSP
54. Close the sparkle and lg circle layers and open the last two
55. Right-click Copy Merged
56. Go back to your new animation in AS
57. Paste AFTER current frame
58. Go to Edit / Select All
59. Right-click and change the Frame Properties to 30
When you have your tag finished, save and you are done!!!
